Pricing FAQ
Is Sparvi really one price for everything?
Yes. $999/mo, flat. Every user on your team, every supported warehouse, every feature. We don't believe in per-seat or per-table pricing, it punishes you for adopting the tool internally, which is the opposite of what should happen.
What's in the free trial?
Everything. The full product, for 14 days, no credit card required. You'll connect your warehouse, profile your tables, set up validations, and receive real alerts. We want you to evaluate Sparvi on actual production-quality usage, not a sandbox.
What if my team is bigger than Sparvi is built for?
If you're at $1B+ revenue, have 100+ data engineers, or need SSO/SOC2/on-prem deployment, talk to us about Enterprise. We don't list a price because every Enterprise deal is different. For everyone else: $999/mo is the right plan.
How does this compare to Monte Carlo, Bigeye, Soda, Datafold?
Monte Carlo and Bigeye sell to enterprise, typical contracts $25K–$100K+/year. Soda ($750/mo) leads with data contracts. Datafold ($799/mo) leads with diff-based testing. Sparvi sits in the same band ($999/mo) but leads with monitors that combine technical and business metrics in one place, segmented by region, product, or tenant so a problem in one slice never hides in the average. We also include all users at the flat rate.
Which warehouses and tools does Sparvi support?
Snowflake, BigQuery, and dbt Core are supported today. Redshift and dbt Cloud are coming H2 2026. Other warehouses on request.
How long does setup take?
30 minutes from connecting your warehouse to receiving the first useful alert. We auto-profile your tables and generate validation rules based on observed patterns, so you don't start from a blank page.
Can I self-host?
Not currently. Cloud-only on Azure. Self-hosting available as an Enterprise option for $1B+ revenue customers on request.
How data observability is typically priced
Sparvi sits in the same band as the other team-priced tools. Enterprise tools cost 25x more. Open-source costs engineering time, not money.
| Tool | Target | Typical Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Monte Carlo | Enterprise | $25K–$100K+/year |
| Bigeye | Growing to enterprise | $50K–$150K/year |
| Soda | Growing companies (data contracts) | $750/month |
| Datafold | Growing companies (diff testing) | $799/month |
| Great Expectations | Engineering teams | Free (open source) + engineering time |
| Sparvi | Data teams on cloud warehouses | $999/month flat |
