  • Two evaluation modes: ML / statistical detection (z-score, IQR, moving average) that learns a baseline from history, or threshold mode with explicit warning and critical lines
  • Segmented metrics: any monitor can be segmented by a dimension column so per-region or per-tenant problems never hide in the average
  • Flexible scheduling: interval (every N minutes/hours), daily, weekly, or manual-only

Getting Started

1. Sign Up and Connect

  • Create your Sparvi Cloud account
  • Connect your first database (Snowflake or PostgreSQL)
  • Configure authentication (OAuth recommended for Snowflake)

2. Discover Your Data

  • Run automatic data discovery to map your database structure
  • Explore tables and understand data patterns
  • Review automatically generated metadata

3. Set Up Monitoring

  • Create validation rules for critical data quality checks
  • Add monitors on the metrics that matter, row counts, column statistics, business KPIs via custom SQL, with ML or threshold evaluation
  • Segment monitors by region, product, or tenant when an aggregate would hide the problem
  • Set per-monitor schedules so noisy data is checked more often than slow-changing tables

4. Invite Your Team

  • Add team members to your organization
  • Configure roles and permissions
  • Set up notification preferences

5. Monitor and Improve

  • Review data quality dashboards regularly
